Where to play blitz in Tbilisi 4

Blitz in Tbilisi is organised as numbered series, so a player who likes the fast game can follow one organiser from one edition to the next. The Merani club numbers its blitz tournaments one after another, mostly on Saturdays and Sundays, and Olympic Champion in Gldani runs a numbered blitz series of its own, which also appears on the FIDE list of rated tournaments.

Georgian Tactics added a blitz series to its rapid tournaments in 2026. Once a year, at the end of September, the Nino Khurtsidze Cup brings women players together for a Swiss blitz tournament with a prize fund, held at the Merani club in recent editions. Each entry links to the tournament listings, which give the time control, the number of rounds and the entry rules.
